Friday, December 8, volunteers from the Charitable Outreach Committee will serve seniors a holiday lunch at Southern Villas as part of our commitment to Pie In The Sky.

Sunday, December 10, Social Event, “Tour of Homes," hosted by St Augustine Garden Club.

Monday, December 11, The Marsh Creek Community is gathering food to be donated to the St John’s County Food Bank.

Monday, December 11, The Angel Affair at Marsh Creek Country Club.

Wednesday, December 13, The MCWA December Luncheon Program with entertainment by the Marsh Creek Chorale.

Charitable Outreach

The MCWA Charitable Outreach Committee has collected your generous Angel Gifts and will deliver them to the children of Food 4 Kids and Alpha Omega Miracle Home. Thank you for your contributions.

Social Committee

Past Social Events

In November, our members enjoyed two wonderful social events!

* On Friday, November 3rd, The Jacksonville Symphony Coffee Series "Star Wars and More: Music of John Williams" was enjoyed by 19 ladies and followed by an amazing lunch at the Bellwether restaurant. 

* We offered two pre-holiday make-up parties on "All Made Up" with Anna Hyde, a local aesthetician and makeup artist. Our attendees enjoyed creating a special holiday look while enjoying mimosas!!

Our December social event, "52nd Tour of Homes presented by The Garden Club of St.  Augustine" is sold out!  The tour is on Sunday, December 10th from Noon until 5:00 PM.  The Tea and Boutique will be held at he River House, 179Marine Street from Noon until 4 PM.  

Upcoming Social Events in 2024

Visit the Social table as sign-ups will begin at the December luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 13th for the following events:

* Thursday, Jan. 18th, 1-4 pm - Jewelry Making with Rosemary Dellapina in the Ladies Card Room. Create a beautiful necklace with natural gems and silver.  Cost is $40.

* Saturday, Jan. 20th, 10:00 am - MCWA Social & Membership "New Member" Brunch in the La Mesita Room.  Morning brunch and get together for members and potential new members. (must belong to MCCC). Member cost is $25 (pay at sign up.) Free for potential new members!

* Thursday, February 8th, 6:00 pm - Valentine's Dinner at La Cocina International Restaurant by Chef Norberto.  This is a Member/Plus One Event, Cost is $70 per/person including tax, gratuities and a champagne toast.
