A Special Evening Program presented by the Women’s Exchange.
Join the MCWA as we attend this special evening event at the historic Peña-Peck House. Enjoy a buffet dinner and wine bar followed by an illustrated presentation by historian Dr. Tom Graham, Professor Emeritus of History at Flagler College.
The program explores the life and legacy of silent film icon Theda Bara while highlighting St. Augustine’s role as an early center of motion picture history. With rare film clips and vivid storytelling, discover how the city attracted film crews, stars, and studios that helped shape American cinema, and how its unique landscapes influenced the industry’s earliest years.
